What “source-based” means on this site

When a page on TummyTuckTurkey.us is published today, it means:

  1. The page was drafted by our editorial team from peer-reviewed sources, institutional data (ASPS, ISAPS, JCI), and established medical literature.
  2. Substantive claims are checked against the cited source for accuracy, balance, and over-claiming.
  3. The page is re-checked when new relevant evidence is published or when the “last reviewed” date exceeds 12 months.

“Source-based” does not mean:

  • That the content constitutes medical advice for any individual patient.
  • That a physician has endorsed any specific surgeon, clinic, or product.
  • That an unnamed medical board has signed the page.

Named physician reviewers

A named reviewer will appear here — with credentials and a verification link — only after that person has reviewed one or more pages and agreed to be listed. We will not invent a board or use an organisational “Medically reviewed” badge as a stand-in.

No named reviewers are listed yet. Pages currently carry an editorial “Last reviewed” date and source citations, not a physician byline.

How pages are produced

  1. Drafting — the editorial team drafts content from peer-reviewed literature and institutional sources, following the source whitelist on our editorial standards page.
  2. Internal edit — the draft is edited for clarity, accuracy of claims, correct citation, and appropriate medical caveats.
  3. Source check — each substantive claim is checked against the cited source.
  4. Publication — the page is published with a last-reviewed date, not an unnamed medical badge.
  5. Periodic re-check — pages are re-checked when new evidence is published or when the last-reviewed date exceeds 12 months.

Conflicts of interest

Named reviewers, when listed, will have no financial interest in:

  • TummyTuckTurkey.us or any entity that operates it.
  • Any surgeon, clinic, hospital, or medical-tourism company mentioned on the site.
  • Any product, device, or technology mentioned on the site.
